This Hoya sports deep maroon-red foliage that can appear almost burgundy in bright light. The leaves are elongated-oval, moderately thick, and occasionally sprinkled with silvery flecks that contrast nicely against the dark background. When new growth emerges it often starts lighter, then hardens off to a richer red, giving the plant a dynamic, ever-changing look that collectors love.
Family: Apocynaceae
